My name is Kali Lander and I teach first grade at W.G. Mallett. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2006 from Susquehanna University and spent 5 years working in Community Mental Health. I realized teaching was my real passion, and in 2014 I received my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. I then taught 5th grade for two years and 2nd grade for one year before moving back to Maine. I have been working WG Mallett as a first grade teacher since 2017. I am very excited to live in the area I grew up in, and be able to spend my spare time doing the things I love, such as coaching my sons soccer team, hiking, nordic skiing and snowboarding!
